Details

A rare Radiola RT Antenna Coupler by RCA / Westinghouse, produced in the early 1920s as part of the pioneering Radiola radio system. This unit functioned as an adjustable antenna tuner, allowing early radio operators to match impedance and fine-tune signal strength for clearer reception — a key innovation in early wireless communication.

The RT model was typically used alongside the Radiola RA, AR, and DA components, forming one of RCA’s first complete home radio receiving systems. Due to its limited production and specialized use, the RT is considered a scarce collector’s item.

Comparable examples have been valued between $800–$2,000 in notable vintage radio auctions.

Good original condition with surface wear consistent with age. Untested for functionality.
